National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC) is a key functionary of Indian Space Research Organization, striving to realize the Indian Space Vision through Earth Observation. It is responsible forthe Ground Segment of Remote Sensing Programme through satellite data acquisition, archival,processing, dissemination, Remote Sensing Applications, Training and Capacity Building. It provides Aerial services in the civilian Sector for the country. The Organization has four Regional Centres at Bangalore, Nagpur, Kolkata and Jodhpur to address region/area specific Remote Sensing applicationneeds. The Earth Station located at Shadnagar, 65 kms from Hyderabad city, is being developed as a full fledged centre to carry out the entire chain of Remote Sensing activities.
